10 Day Detox Meals – Day 3

Good morning Day 3.  I love you.  I didn’t think that this detox would be so fun.  I love how close I am to the Lord, how He is helping me stay strong and positive.  I am remaining in constant prayer because the second I feel weak, I fall at HIS feet.  God you are so good, I feel your power.  You are present as I make all these healthy changes to heal my body.  As it turns out, I am healing my soul too.  Thank you for loving me, Abba Father.Screen Shot 2018-08-21 at 6.51.47 AM

I am so encouraged because my body feels great.  I don’t feel bloated, slow or sluggish.  I feel light and airy, just like yesterday.  That’s an awesome way to wake up!  Thank you God!

Breakfast:LastShareCollage 12

I made a coffee smoothie today with some cold coffee, frozen organic blueberries, cinnamon (where’s the PS?).  I chased down my Evergreen Knee and Ankle herbal supplements.  My acupuncturist, Kim, recommended them for my condition.  I am so thankful for her.  15 seconds into my session and my swelling is considerably reduced and I achieve comfortable motion back in my knee.  That’s a massive PRAISE!

WHAT…how did I start talking about needles?  but I did, because acupuncture is awesome and it has changed my life.  It works for me and I highly recommend it for all of you who life in pain like I do.  Acupuncture has healed so many nerve disorders associated with child-birth and really made a difference when coping with my chronic knee pain.  AMEN Y’ALL!

Morning Snack:

I am so excited to share a new recipe with you guys!  I wanted a healthy and satisfying snack.  These cookies aren’t gross guys.  I will admit, I used to scoff and judge people that made snacks with no flour and sugar.

Lunch:

Lunch was delicious.  I took the couscous left-overs and mixed it up in my frying pan with 2 organic cage-free eggs.  I sliced up an organic avocado and put a dollop of hummus on my plate too.  I seasoned the avocado and hummus with red chili flakes.  This meal is delicious.

AAANNND…. as you can see, the Turkey and Couscous meal has fed me 3 times.  The money we are saving on this DETOX is insane.  We used to eat out so much.  It’s so unhealthy and expensive.  IMG_9575

Afternoon snack:

I had 2 BREAC-FAST cookies for a snack.  They are sooooo dang good!  YUM!

      • Oh you’re so welcome! I try to be encouraging. Awwww, thanks so much for that! I really enjoyed writing the post on hope. 😄 That’s wonderful how you are feeling so much stronger! Praise God! Sometimes it’s hard for me to not cheat and eat things I shouldn’t, but then my body gets more fatigued and I start feeling wretched so that snaps me back into being more self disciplined again. You’re doing so great!! 🤗😚
