Made Free

Sick girl

Sick too long

Tired of

The same old song

White halls

Sterile rooms

Wait forever

News too soon.

Grim faces

Doctors say

We don’t know

Shrug away

Must be nuts

Pills prescribed

She just wants

To run and hide.

No one wants her

She is red

Never ending

12 years dead.

Don’t look

You will see

And maybe get

What’s wrong with me

Angry eyes

At the world

You don’t know

Mad looks hurled.

Unrelenting

Pain is real

empty house

lonely meal

No one to ask

How do you Feel?

Hunched over

Dejected she

Don’t stop

Or look at me.

Watched the news

Heard of Him

Can’t hurt me

Future’s dim

Takes a walk

Looks and sees

The Healer smiles

Could it be?

Touches hem

Walking by

Sharp breath in

Healing sigh.

Then HE turns

within crowd

Looks at her

Says So Loud

Your Faith is True

I know what

You came to do.

You are Healed

Changed today

Walk in trust

Always pray.

She was new

moment passed

12 years gone

shattered glass

Solid faith

He knew me

No turning back

now made free.

Jesus healing the bleeding woman

Matthew 9:20-22

20 Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak. 21 She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.”

22 Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment.
