Maybe if

my feet were light

I could try

with all my might

 

To walk upon

a cloud someday

They look so soft

I want to play

 

I’d run my hands

through their fluff

If could touch

that beautiful stuff

 

As a kid

I’d wish so loud

That I could touch

a fluffy cloud

 

I’d look with eyes

that told me truth

The clouds are heaven

they are proof

 

That God is cozy

fluffy and warm

Comfort always

through each storm

 

The clouds give promise

of His power

Sending rain

life’s sweet shower

 

The clouds shield us

from sun’s heat

Give us shade

a sweet retreat

 

Dsrk clouds remind us

of a pendulum swing

Balance seeking

God’s timing

 

Yet they return

like never before

After the storm

peace fully restored

 

Fluffy clouds

gentle glow

Purple, pink

glory show

 

I look in awe

the majesty

None can match

His artistry

 

Painted there

by God above

Glorious examples

of His love

 

Dear God, thank you

for each reminder

Of your Love

your true desire

 

A glimpse of you

what we can see

Imagine Heaven

what it might be

 

The clouds are heaven

children say

Innocent minds

give away

A secret only

they can know

With precious thoughts

whispered low

Awareness hasn’t

messed up their mind

They aren’t searching,

don’t need to find

They already know

kids pay attention

They’re closer to God

and His direction

 

They have imagination

a sweet surrender

Faith makes sense

with eyes of wonder

 

Easier to see HIM

cause they look up high

And see His Home

painted in the sky

 

Clouds relax

spread out slow

So, rest yourself

enjoy the show

A reminder that Heaven

is a breath away

Beautiful clouds

where we get to stay

 

Reflect as a child

a cloud’s true story

Wrapped up in His Love

fluffy sweet glory.

What if you believed that clouds were Heaven, and that God was there.  Just like a child.  Why did I feel so strong about that when I was a kid?

What if the Bible talked about clouds being the Presence of God?

Exodus 13:21-22

By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night. Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people.

Numbers 14:14

And they will tell the inhabitants of this land about it. They have already heard that you, Lord, are with these people and that you, Lord, have been seen face to face, that your cloud stays over them, and that you go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night.

Deuteronomy 1:33

 who went ahead of you on your journey, in fire by night and in a cloud by day, to search out places for you to camp and to show you the way you should go.
