This message is heavy

It’s full of God’s Truth

Written in the Bible

A story from youth

A story of Jonah,

He ran from the Lord

And a fish swallowed him up

Yet, what a reward

A lesson was taught him

You act and obey

And you do what I tell you

You do what I say

And now it’s my mission

To speak and to say

That we are a nation

A world that will pay.

 

For pushing away

The ONLY TRUE God

The one that did love us

And with us did trod

We denied His Son

Who suffered and died

And salvation was given

So we can abide

In heaven one day

I’ll be there with Him

I know this for certain

Holy Spirit within

 

Yet, this is the folly

This is what we get

For turning our backs

Now He willingly lets

Us be punished

Cause He is a dad

And he has been hurt

And He is so sad.

 

YOU THINK YOU CAN TAKE HIM

out of our schools?

YOU THINK YOU CAN TAKE HIM

and make your own rules?

YOU THINK YOU CAN TAKE HIM

and turn all your backs?

YOU THINK IT’S A JOKE

that now we all lack

WHERE IS OUR FREEDOM?

DO WE HAVE A SAY?

WHERE IS YOUR SAFETY?

WHEN IT’S ALL TAKEN AWAY!

 

We got so cozy

So used to the sin

We wallowed in wealth

That lied deep within

We let them say NO

To Jesus’ sweet name

And FEAR the reward

And nothing’s to gain.

 

NOW FREEDOM IS GONE

NOW SIN GETS TO SAY

THIS IS THE STORM

WHEN YOU TAKE GOD AWAY

 

When you stop praising Him

And respect HOLY POWER

When we deny God

We can only cower

 

There is a right

As much as a wrong

And I knew this was coming

Cause ya’ll sang along

To a tune that was innocent

At the very start

We didn’t push back

When they broke Holy Heart

You stop saying Jesus

You stop loving HIM

You don’t pay respect

Then here’s punishment grim

 

AND I’LL SAY THIS ONE TIME

CAUSE I KNOW IT IS NOW

THAT THIS IS OUR CHANCE

TO SAY SORRY AND BOW

AND REPENT OF OUR SIN

AND BRING HIM CENTER AND STRONG

AND SAY UNITED STATES

THIS IS WHERE GOD BELONGS

IT WAS THE FOUNDATION

OF HOW WE WERE FOUND

AND NOW IT’S OUR CHANCE

SO SING AND RESOUND

GOD IS THE CAPTAIN

OF THIS PRECIOUS SHIP

AND IF YOU DENY HIM

YOU MIGHT AS WELL SIP

OF A BRAND NEW CUP

OF TERROR AND FEAR

Cause that’s all we deserve

Can you listen and hear

 

I’m begging you all

We get another chance

And my children deserve it

A mother’s strong stance

I beg of you all

Please share this today

Please listen to God

Please bow down and pray

And United please stand

And bring back sweet love

And bring back the LORD

Raise hands up above

We must push back now

We must show our power

We have this chance

We must not cower

 

THE BIBLE is true

The stories do teach

So that we can correct

The wrong and we preach

The truth of the gospel

To all that we know

So that we get a chance

To love others and show

That life can be better

When we make the choice

To love the Lord

And sing and rejoice

 

Jonah went to Ninevah

He preached God’s Great Word

And they all repented

They heard every word

They listened, obeyed

changed their lives full of sin

God blessed them

Forgave them, they all did win

the wrath of the Lord

exemplified

But Sodom and Gomorrah,

And those that denied

They were told of their choice

And they didn’t obey

Is that our story?

I desperately pray

That we band together

And we change our ways

Or this current State

Will be the rest of our days.

And you think this is bad?

It’s for sure getting worse

This is reality

A global new curse.
