Oh what genius
A parable teacher
Oh what Genius
Our Jesus-world reacher
A parable written
In God’s Great Word
Stories that last
For all to be heard
And all to be taught
The right way to be
With wonderful,
Heavenly clarity
A widow was sad
She needed retribution
She loved so deeply
In destitution
She begged a judge
Who wasn’t so great
At doing his job
A lazy, fat state
Yet, her squeaky wheel
Her daily request
Sent him over the edge
And she was so blessed
He gave her the ask
She repeated to him
And solution was found
In a moment so grim
So this is the lesson
Jesus gave us today
To never give up
When we bow and pray
And ask the Lord
For healing the earth
We took it for granted
But now we know worth
We know that our mission
Is to humbly pray
For another chance
To live the right way
To live with His Name
On the tip of our tongues
2020 is the year
unlike anyone
To un·a·bash·ed·ly pray
With sincere voice
To carry our Bibles
to commit to a choice
The way we were living
Was embarrassing, say
And now we commit
To a new Christian way
We commit as new soldiers
Ready for battle
We commit with our families
To get up and saddle
And ready for war
Against unknown foe
We’re all pointing fingers
But no one does know
Except for you Lord
You see with such vision
You see ’cause your perfect
You can make the decision
To heal what is wrong
With what’s going on
You can heal the hurt
And we will sing our new song
A new Christian wave
Is smashing around
We feel all the power
Of this WONDROUS sound
We are rising up
In empathy waves
This storm is soon coming
ONLY. GOD. SAVES
Those persistent Christians
Who never give up
We pray all the time
With overflowing cup
WE say ABBA FATHER
You know what is wrong
It was us all along
We forgot this praise song
But we sing it now
We sing it to you
HOLY HOLY HOLY
In all that we do
I’ll never forget
this 2020 year
This moment of global
Terrifying fear
I’ll never forget
Constitutional rights
Written down first
To let Christians fight
To Gather together
The Lord be praised
Hebrews teaches
that Christians will raise
Hebrews 10:22-27
22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,
25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.
And we will commit
To meeting together
And praising the Lord
No matter the weather
Don’t challenge the People
Following His COMMAND
Don’t challenge the People
ON HIS WORD WE DO STAND
We don’t fear sinners
Taking away
The right for us to gather
Cause now we do pray
In new Christian furor
In powerful tone
In powerful voices
We are not alone
Remember the pagans
That tried to day and night
And so unsuccessful
In spite of their plight
And God burned the alter
Soaked to the core
He burned it right down
He settled the score
16 So Obadiah went to meet Ahab and told him, and Ahab went to meet Elijah.17 When he saw Elijah, he said to him, “Is that you, you troubler of Israel?”
18 “I have not made trouble for Israel,” Elijah replied. “But you and your father’s family have. You have abandoned the Lord’s commands and have followed the Baals. 19 Now summon the people from all over Israel to meet me on Mount Carmel. And bring the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal and the four hundred prophets of Asherah, who eat at Jezebel’s table.”
20 So Ahab sent word throughout all Israel and assembled the prophets on Mount Carmel. 21 Elijah went before the people and said, “How long will you waverbetween two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him.”
But the people said nothing.
22 Then Elijah said to them, “I am the only one of the Lord’s prophets left, but Baal has four hundred and fifty prophets. 23 Get two bulls for us. Let Baal’s prophets choose one for themselves, and let them cut it into pieces and put it on the wood but not set fire to it. I will prepare the other bull and put it on the wood but not set fire to it. 24 Then you call on the name of your god, and I will call on the name of the Lord. The god who answers by fire—he is God.”
Then all the people said, “What you say is good.”
25 Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, “Choose one of the bulls and prepare it first, since there are so many of you. Call on the name of your god, but do not light the fire.” 26 So they took the bull given them and prepared it.
Then they called on the name of Baal from morning till noon. “Baal, answer us!” they shouted. But there was no response; no one answered. And they danced around the altar they had made.
27 At noon Elijah began to taunt them. “Shout louder!” he said. “Surely he is a god! Perhaps he is deep in thought, or busy, or traveling. Maybe he is sleeping and must be awakened.” 28 So they shouted louder and slashed themselves with swords and spears, as was their custom, until their blood flowed. 29 Midday passed, and they continued their frantic prophesying until the time for the evening sacrifice. But there was no response, no one answered, no one paid attention.
30 Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come here to me.” They came to him, and he repaired the altar of the Lord, which had been torn down. 31 Elijah took twelve stones, one for each of the tribes descended from Jacob, to whom the word of the Lord had come, saying, “Your name shall be Israel.” 32 With the stones he built an altar in the name of the Lord, and he dug a trench around it large enough to hold two seahs[a] of seed. 33 He arranged the wood, cut the bull into pieces and laid it on the wood. Then he said to them, “Fill four large jars with water and pour it on the offering and on the wood.”
34 “Do it again,” he said, and they did it again.
“Do it a third time,” he ordered, and they did it the third time. 35 The water ran down around the altar and even filled the trench.
36 At the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed: “Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command.37 Answer me, Lord, answer me, so these people will know that you, Lord, are God, and that you are turning their hearts back again.”
38 Then the fire of the Lord fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench.
39 When all the people saw this, they fell prostrate and cried, “The Lord—he is God! The Lord—he is God!”
40 Then Elijah commanded them, “Seize the prophets of Baal. Don’t let anyone get away!” They seized them, and Elijah had them brought down to the Kishon Valleyand slaughtered there.
So that is MY GOD
the one I do serve
AND that is MY GOD
respect this new curve
this studious learning
cause you will soon see
the power of prayer
the power that made me
that made you
that made all
the one that with say
made this all around us
so now I do pray
that GOD up above
the great I AM
the one that gave Moses
the power that can
move up the waters
and walk through a sea
this is MY GOD
that truly gave me
the words I write down
for all that will read
the power is HIS
to heal you and me
so let’s pray on our knees
and give him the GLORY
and change all the chapters
that told of a story
of earthly complacent
weak little Christians
we are not anymore
we love our new missions
to RISE UP, RISE UP
right after we kneel
and hands to the sky
we praise with great feel
GLORY TO GOD
TO THE HIGHEST OF ALL
GLORY TO GOD
WITH JOY WE DO CALL
AND ASK YOU TO CONQUER
THE SIN OF SICK FEAR
TO DEFEAT EVEN THOSE
THAT CHALLENGE US HERE
THAT THINK THEY CAN TAKE
US AWAY FROM EACH OTHER
THAT THINK THAT WE COWER
WE DON’T SISTER. BROTHER.
WE NEVER FEAR MAN
WE FEAR THE WRATH OF OUR GOD
WHEN HE COMMANDS US
WE OBEY AND WE TROD
THE ROAD THAT’S LESS TRAVELLED
AND GREAT OUR REWARD
FOR THAT IS OUR SAVIOR
JESUS CHRIST OUR SWEET LORD
