Here I am

another day

Please use me

I humbly pray

I am still here

in body, soul

Take my life

I give You control

nothing by accident

You designed me to be

Holy Father

Sanctify me

let my words

Free from malice

take away worry

fear and doubt

because I LIVE

not by me

but YOU always

You are I AM

You open each door

Whatever You bid

bless me to do

In YOUR stregth

and not mine, it’s true

This can’t be about

anything of me

The words that I speak

how could they ever be

They are not mine

I’m clumsy always

I always speak wrong

but these that I say

these that I type

are coming out loud

They speak and rejoice

so I am not proud

I am not haughty

I do not boast

for the words come from You,

the Holy Ghost,

Indwelling within

your servant right here

come forward, Dear Lord,

forever I fear

living a moment

without full submission

You are worthy, oh Lord

Forever my mission

is to tell others about

this breaking of me

the pieces so scattered

forever will be

lost and forgotten

I’ll never go back

I’ll never go there

the past truly lacked

the happy I feel

the joy that I share

the peace now within

There is no greater proof

that you are the LORD

because I am changed

oh what a reward!?

that is the miracle

the proof you are real

because I am CHANGED

you didn’t have to reveal

and yet, STILL you do!

you speak still to me?

you care about this?

you died on a tree?

you spoke, you sought?

you were looking for me?

you didn’t give up?

you CHOSE me to be?

how selected in spite

of what you did know

how my life in disgust

would one day now grow

to this and You use me

and You didn’t let go

You held me much closer

when I didn’t show

an ounce of submission

I lived so in sin

but you gave me a second

chance to begin

another day to live

another day to say

please choose Jesus

choose Him today

So this is my prayer

please let others crave

New life that I know

this new life You gave

this new life with You

Together let’s grow

let this great revival

Let our Father know

that we are repenting

We turn away from sin

we live a new life

Because HE is within

Let’s sweep up the nation

in blessed, humble love

and not love of this earth

Love for above

Love for our Jesus,

Your only Son,

Love for His sacrifice

for coming undone

for putting us back

on the right path

for new passion for Christ

because the wrath

of you, God our Father,

We wronged You for so long

and now in our chastising

We sing a new song

We ask for forgiveness

We turn from our sin

We speak only words

and act out YOU within

We listen to The Voice

that guides us each day

the Gift that you gave us

when You left us that day

You said that this Gift

was better than You

and so, wow, we are grateful

for all that You do

Your words are not empty

They are Truth and THE WAY

so Lord, we are thankful

and continually pray

That each day You give us

and when we wake up

we realize that this

is an overflowing cup

and to not take for granted

Another chance

to go preach the Gospel

and continually advance

The nation of Christians

Who walk in HIS steps

So when we look back

There are no regrets

There is only much more

led by our example

and all of our eyes

Focus on Heven’s Temple

Nurture the Spirit

acknowledge His Presence

Bow to your knees

in Holy, sweet reverence

Jesus, there’s POWER

Power in YOUR NAME

and so we remain

we remain and remain

Always submitting

All that we do

We love you Jesus

Help us be true

Here I am

Another day

Philippians 4:5-9

 Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.
