1 John 2:15-17
15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
I crave you,
I want to crave you
Holy Lord, I crave you
all I see
and all I do
help me Lord
to crave You
Replace the things
I want here
With Holy Love
Please help me steer
all my thoughts
all my desire
be all I crave
all I require
I crave You
I want to crave You
Holy Lord, I crave You
all I see
and all I do
help me Lord
to crave You
Let my thoughts
turn to You
When all around
steals what is true
Help the past
be back there
Craving You
That is my prayer
I crave You
I want to crave You
please help me Lord
to crave You
I crave You
I crave You
Jesus my Lord
Your love is true
I crave You
I want to crave You
all I see and all I do
Help me God
To crave YOU
Glorify Yourself in rushing waves
Submission Lord, for all my days
to crave your word
to crave in prayer
this loving bond
nothing compares
craving faith
instead of fear
to crave You Lord
Your voice to hear
I crave you,
I want to crave you
Holy Lord, I crave you
all I see
and all I do
help me Lord
to crave You
Yet me replace
with healthy act
The stuff that drains
The stuff I lack
Let me crave
wholeness in You
Let me crave
all of You
Fill me with
Your word Your way
let me crave
You each day
Help me crave
when I wake
And each sunrise
each breath I take
faith in you
craving more
I crave you,
Now, crave you
Holy Lord, I crave you
all I see
and all I do
You help me Lord
to crave you

I am praying a specific prayer, a private prayer and now, not so private. Please Lord, take what I crave. Please replace it with You. Let all my thoughts, that try to drag me down, drag me back, drag me to destruction, take them Lord. Let the cravings that make me suffer, please take those cravings and let me make my cravings focus on You instead.
I want to crave Jesus. When my body starts craving sin, I want to crave Jesus instead. It can be anything, Lord, I crave the adrenaline, I crave the sugar, I crave the fried, I crave the lazy, I crave the distraction, please help me Jesus, help me crave only YOU.
So that can be a new habit, when I start to fall back on old cravings, I can release myself into new cravings, new habits, new desires.
Brain training is so important, it exercise, the more we practice it the easier it becomes and the best part is that special and exciting word – habit. It becomes natural. A daily walk with Jesus becomes habit and the best happiness in our day. No matter what this life will bring, the fall back can be craving Jesus. That sounds delicious to me.
Praise you Jesus, here is another day. Praise you Jesus, help me crave you in every way.
