We have just as much to do with our Salvation as we did with our birth.

We did not ask our parents to be born, it was the will of both of them that we were conceived, yet, before conception the will of Christ that the egg was fertilized.

Salvation? Yup. We did not ask Christ to die. He died because of His own free will.

We do not ask Christ to save us, we are already saved by the blood of the Lamb, it was the will of Christ that ALL should be saved.

How then are we saved?

Salvation is only through belief because of love. God identifies himself as LOVE. We believe because we love and thus we are accepted by Jesus as saved.

We continue to live our lives after Salvation in love with Jesus like children love their parents. That life is not perfect, just like I imperfectly love my parents. Unlike my parents, however, Jesus always forgives us when we fail Him. Eternally.

Our Salvation is not because we asked for life or had to DO anything to be born again, but because of Christ, we are made alive in HIM. The old me is dead, the new me is made alive in Jesus.

We are born first as human babies because He willed that to happen, we are SAVED and are born again because HE died. We are Christians when we love – and that love is our ticket to eternal life.

We simply love Him back.

Saved. Simple enough?

Saved because we love Jesus, the Only Son of God. Who created us and loved us enough to die and rise again which crushed our sins and death for eternity. Now we enjoy a new birth in Him, for Him and By Him.

Did you have to ask to be born? no.

Did you have to ask to be saved? no.

Do you love Jesus? yes.

Saved.
