The concept of being “Good Enough” for Salvation must be met with “Sinful Enough” to lose it.
The two are equally as inconceivable.
There is no greater love, compassion, grace and mercy than that of our Lord Jesus Christ, who was, and is and is to come. He loves us that way. Enough to call a murdering and adulterating king “a man after God’s own heart” (1 Samuel 13:14). Enough to invite the taunting thief on the cross to come enjoy eternity in Splendor with Him in Heaven after he realized he was wrong about Jesus and asked if he could go.
This is inconceivable love that forgives both ways, forgives us enough to give us salvation and forgives us enough to sustain it – because we can never be good enough, or fail enough for Jesus – He sees our sin in a different way.
