I am an SAI Assistant at Coastal Academy (4 years experience) part time- and a hybrid homeschool mom of 3.
I am also working on a degree in Elementary Education with and Emphasis on Teaching Reading through GCU in a credentialing program.

I offer early K-3 math standards using manipulatives and a variety of differentiation strategies to help struggling learners.

I assist K-6 readers. Early readers are really my passion. I have some amazing curriculum and offer tips to parents for struggling students.

I specialize in early reading instruction for elementary-aged children, with a strong foundation in the science of reading and Scarborough’s Reading Rope.
My teaching focuses on essential skills such as phonemic awareness, phonics, decoding, and understanding syllable rules—critical components of the word recognition strand.
I use explicit, structured lessons combined with engaging games and multisensory techniques to support young learners in becoming confident, capable readers.
