So many times throughout the Bible and all of history, there have been attacks and nonsense – uproars and disagreements. It is time to be on our knees in prayer. I am so thankful that we pray to a God who is alive and well and has proven to protect those who are faithful. We can praise and worship in all things, because He is good and kind and He promises to work ALL things out for the good. God is so awesome.
The prayer of Lifting Up found in the Book of Acts.
O, Sovereign Lord, Creator of heaven and earth, the sea and everything in them – you spoke long ago by the Holy Spirit through our ancestor David, your servant saying,
“Why were the nations so angry?
Why did they waste their time with futile plans?
The kings of the earth prepared for battle;
the rulers gathered together
against the LORD
and against His Messiah.”
In fact, your people were united against Jesus, your holy servant, whom you anointed. But everything they did was determined beforehand according to YOUR WILL. And now, O LORD, hear their threats, and give your servants, great boldness in preaching your WORD. Stretch out your hand with healing power, may miraculous signs and wonders be done through the name of your holy servant, Jesus, amen.
Please shake us Lord, and fill us with the wisdom and power of Your Holy Spirit and help us do the next right thing for you. Please confuse the plots of the enemy and let it be like Balaam and let the attempts of the enemy – who are determined to speak curses and deploy destruction – only glorify your name – let their words be kindness and their actions be of service to you. I pray big miracles cause you have done those big miracles in my life. All these things we ask in your name, because only YOU are worthy to open the scroll, Jesus, you are worthy of all glory, honor and praise and you alone can do these miraculous signs and wonders. I trust your will and your wisdom and your way. May all things be done to glorify you. Please protect the law enforcement and their families, please bless them and keep them in your hands Father. In your awesome and Holy Name, Jesus, amen.
