THE GIFT OF BAKING – by Katie Swank:
Tips n’ Tricks
Learn so much
Baking, Cooking
Eating such
Wonderful creations
That come to be
Chatting, talking
Learn from me
Tiny head,
Bobs around
May I help?
Blue eyes so round
May I make
This memory?
Just me and you
May I, mommy?
Of course you can
She replied
Sparkling tear
Wiped from her eye
Building a legacy
My daughter and I
Measure this
Mix up those
These two, always…
Trust your nose
Replace this
Try new things
See results
Creativity brings!
Mistakes teach
New memories
Don’t do this
or trash will be
All you’ll have
From unmeasured time
Remember your past
and you’ll be fine
New things will thrive
They’ll be commended
You’ll do it right
and be recommended
You’ll upgrade you
and reap great reward
Your skills will increase
So always record
Write down the steps
Teach new great ways
Talking and trusting
For all of your days
Share with the world
Your new-found-treasure
Taste it and see
It’s delectable pleasure
That’s why David
spoke “Taste it and see!”
Taste this New Life
simply follow He
Taste this and see
That GOD is so good!
You’ll never go back
Impossible, you would
Be making a mess
of the best recipe
Oh friend, here it is
Just taste it and see…
I sought the Lord, and he answered me;
he delivered me from all my fears.
Those who look to him are radiant;
their faces are never covered with shame.
This poor man called, and the Lord heard him;
he saved him out of all his troubles.
The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him,
and he delivers them.
Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
Fear the Lord, you his holy people,
for those who fear him lack nothing.
The lions may grow weak and hungry,
but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.
