it happened for real
a long time ago
In a land back in Bible Days,
inside the palace of a king,
something evil was brewing
and so God would bring
a beautiful girl named Esther,
she would do -do do do de do
a brave thing!
you see, an evil man named Haman
well, he made a terrible plan:
He wanted to hurt Esther’s people
all across the kingdom’s land.
He planned
and he schemed
and he talked such mean ol’ tricks
but God in His wisdom
picks, who he picks
to display that he is greater
than a trick, scheme or plan
made by evil people
who forgot….
Who made man!
Haman’s plan tricked the king
into signing an evil law
But Mordecai, so faithful
was wise and he saw
how he could help, what he could do
Mordecai told Esther,
this is scary, my niece, but you
were chosen for
” a time such as this,”
he said with a smile,
and gave her forehead a kiss
God put you in the palace
to do this big thing
so be faithful and pray
before you approach the king
and then trust what
God will bring!
“Esther prayed
and was brave:
She put on her royal robes
and walked into the hall.
what do you think God Chose?
yes, we remember,
The king held out his scepter,
while Esther bowed down
the king remained standing tall.
what do you want dear?
he asked her,
i’ll give you it all!

Esther’s life is proof,
that faith in the Lord
provides massive Salvation
she boldly told the crowd
the whole truth
about Haman, as she bowed
this act saved all her people
across the whole nation
