So the last couple of months this idea has been on my mind relentlessly.
First, let me introduce you to my sister, my little sister, 11 years younger, in fact. She lives on the other side of the continent – a quick google search told me that if I wanted to go say hello in person – this is what I would have to do:
The straight-line flight distance between Beaverdam, Nova Scotia and Oceanside, California is approximately 2,950 miles (4,748 km). If you were to drive, the cross-continent road trip spans roughly 3,750 miles (6,035 km) and requires around 55 to 60 hours of pure driving time depending on your route.

I’m simply not taking that much time to go to foggy Nova Scotia, you come here and enjoy the sun for a minute or two…
