Good morning Day 3. Β I love you. Β I didn’t think that this detox would be so fun. Β I love how close I am to the Lord, how He is helping me stay strong and positive. Β I am remaining in constant prayer because the second I feel weak, I fall at HIS feet. Β God you are so good, I feel your power. Β You are present as I make all these healthy changes to heal my body. Β As it turns out, I am healing my soul too. Β Thank you for loving me, Abba Father.
I am so encouraged because my body feels great. Β I don’t feel bloated, slow or sluggish. Β I feel light and airy, just like yesterday. Β That’s an awesome way to wake up! Β Thank you God!
Breakfast:
I made a coffee smoothie today with some cold coffee, frozen organic blueberries, cinnamon (where’s the PS?). Β I chased down my Evergreen Knee and Ankle herbal supplements. Β My acupuncturist, Kim, recommended them for my condition. Β I am so thankful for her. Β 15 seconds into my session and my swelling is considerably reduced and I achieve comfortable motion back in my knee. Β That’s a massive PRAISE!
WHAT…how did I start talking about needles? Β but I did, because acupuncture is awesome and it has changed my life. Β It works for me and I highly recommend it for all of you who life in pain like I do. Β Acupuncture has healed so many nerve disorders associated with child-birth and really made a difference when coping with my chronic knee pain. Β AMEN Y’ALL!
Morning Snack:

I am so excited to share a new recipe with you guys! Β I wanted a healthy and satisfying snack. Β These cookies aren’t gross guys. Β I will admit, I used to scoff and judge people that made snacks with no flour and sugar.

Lunch:
Lunch was delicious. Β I took the couscous left-overs and mixed it up in my frying pan with 2 organic cage-free eggs. Β I sliced up an organic avocado and put a dollop of hummus on my plate too. Β I seasoned the avocado and hummus with red chili flakes. Β This meal is delicious.
AAANNND…. as you can see, the Turkey and Couscous meal has fed me 3 times. Β The money we are saving on this DETOX is insane. Β We used to eat out so much. Β It’s so unhealthy and expensive. Β
Afternoon snack:
I had 2 BREAC-FAST cookies for a snack. Β They are sooooo dang good! Β YUM!

AND YES, Iβm so thankful that this detox is fun. I feel so strong. God is so present and that makes everything easier.
Oh you’re so welcome! I try to be encouraging. Awwww, thanks so much for that! I really enjoyed writing the post on hope. π That’s wonderful how you are feeling so much stronger! Praise God! Sometimes it’s hard for me to not cheat and eat things I shouldn’t, but then my body gets more fatigued and I start feeling wretched so that snaps me back into being more self disciplined again. You’re doing so great!! π€π
Thanks Vivian! I just created a fun and delicious recipe for cookies that I will post shortly. This detox is inspiring me to be creative with food and that makes me SO happy. I love random inspiration.
