Peace within

today I ask

fill my day

every task

take away

worry, pain

fill my heart

with joy again

you know me

Dear Lord, Today I pray for peace.  I pray that as I go through this day that you fill my heart with silence when the devil tries to whisper his incessant lies.  Please continually remind me  that I AM LOVED, I AM YOURS and I AM WORTHY of YOUR ETERNAL FORGIVENESS.  Mercy lives within my Christian heart, thank you for Mercy.  I am forever yours and you are forever mine.  I love my Christian life, for all the awesome joys and the painful sorrows, you are with me to carry and anchor me to my faith.  Thank you for the peaceful silence I have with you, the relationship that I have grown to love and cherish so much.  Thank you for prayer, for this awesome connection I have with you.  Thank you for the ability to share our love with others, so that they can have it too.  Thank you for the peace I feel after saying this prayer.  YOU ARE AWESOME!  In Jesus’ name,  Amen.
