What a mess
All around
Confusion
Scrambling
So profound
Broken parts
Make up the whole
I must confess
To think so small
Gives me joyful clarity
And best of all
Erases the disparity
I read a book
To my tiny ones
A book that taught
That taking one
Of anything
That does not belong
To me – is gross
An act so wrong
It makes you feel
Sick, a mess
It leaves your heart
Full of stress
Always watching
Looking around
Gollum, gross
Mumbling sound
Stealing things
horrible feeling
Leaves your mind
Constantly reeling
The stolen thing
Beauty behold!
Yet, not worth it
Truth be told
See, the truth,
A stolen thing
No reward
Or joy to bring
Stolen treasure
Only stings
No success
Shameful kings
There is no joy
For them right now
They know the truth
They fear it, wow!
They acknowledge
With each act
With fearful trembling
They react
They protect
With undo power
Full of fear
Sin it cowers.
Sin exposed?
It cowers to Him?
Did you forget
About that sin?
It knows our Lord
It trembles in fear?
So why are you scared?
Let’s stop right here!
Christians who
In Joy, remain
Full of rapture
we feel no pain
didn’t you watch
The Grinch take toys
Only to know
That our true joy
Isn’t within
A man
A face
A building
A structure
Government
Or place
Our joy is found
In Jesus alone
He is THE ONE
Upon our throne
And so you think
You won, assume?
And we are sad
So full of gloom?
We are united
In every state
We are united
HIS love is GREAT
We are united
Hand in hand
Heart to heart
Across this land
Nothing can separate
The Spirit is HERE
We as Christians
We revere
The ONE
THE ALPHA
The OMEGA
The LORD
He created
His word, the sword!
We know HIS PROMISE
We know the facts
We do not cower
Nothing lacks.
No, my friends,
We breathe clean air
On God, we focus
He will repair
The sin
The broken
It’s real
Not jokin
My smile, it shines
In reality
Cause Christian love
Is inside of me
Let me explain
How I feel
My eyes are open
I see this steal
And fear, it lost
It’s grip on me
The day God gave
Mercy to me
And ripped the chains
Only I could see
He took my sin
And set me free
The day that He
Made me whole
I gave to Him
All control
And with this new
Life I have
I cannot for one
Second lag
I need to pray
God – this is You
Do what You
Now must do
They mock You
With disgusting words
Prayers to something
That can’t be heard
That can’t react
Or do the things
That you will do
I know, it stings
To hear the sons
And daughters say
They forgot You
Pushed You away
But Lord, not me
I, in reverence, say
Please forgive them!
They lost their way
Please have mercy!
Open their doors
Open their hearts
Reveal once more
In great wisdom
What You must do
I pray this, Jesus,
With all that’s true
Please forgive
This broken place
That once was strong
So full of faith
Now, so gross
So infultrated
So full of sin
So desecrated
Do what You must
To bring people to You
It worked for me
Yes, it’s true
I feel such passion
To know much more
I crave Your Word
Please restore
Please let others
Fix what they can
Not pointing fingers
To other men
Let them look inside
Their broken heart
Their broken mind
Their broken part
And in such reverence
To You Lord
Commit themselves
Oh, what reward
Each life changed
Reflecting YOU
Less of me
And what I do
Change me inside
Humble me
Please reveal
What I must be
Help me say
Words from You
Less of me
And more of YOU!
Imagine if
They opened their eyes
Ones who mocked
Who critisized
Who had the power
To feel such hate
The pendulum swing
Of them, so great!
So wonderful
So powerful
So beautful
So, I’ll be full
Of prayers for those
In seats, they sit
And make such choices
Bit by bit
That they would see
How we react
Just like the Grinch
And accept the fact
That we have something
That they want
We have joy
And we don’t taunt
And we don’t cave
And we don’t fear
And we won’t react
We shed no tear.
We will share
The love You gave
We will welcome
The ones you Save
And we will forgive
With hearts so new
As they change
start fresh and new
each life given
To the Lord
The whole of Heaven
Celebration reward!
So this is my
Prayer for you
That you read
And accept what’s true
That Jesus is waiting
For you to say
Save me Jesus
Save me today.
Watch and wait
For what will come
I promise it’s excellent
And can’t be undone!
And now I speak
To you brother, sister
Please listen close
Missus, mister
Every Christian
They’re watching, waiting
Expecting a break
Anticipating
To rob and take
And say – a-ha!
We broke all those
Fools ta-da!
Laughing at us
Chastise – cruel
Lest we forget
The God we serve
Let’s all remember
The Line will curve
When He commands
What can’t obey?
What won’t stop
When He does say!
They don’t know
The Tower of Babel
It wasn’t a story,
A tale or fable
Did the tower
See fruition?
Did man stop it
Was that man’s mission?
Or was it God
That set confusion
He is the creator
Of retribution
History promises
The power of God
So why take that on
The broken trod
That road is theirs
I won’t walk there
I will respect
I’ll say this prayer
Christian, stay strong
Exemplify Him
Don’t drown in
Their world so grim
We don’t belong
To the sinful chatter
We don’t belong
To what doesn’t matter
Focus your eyes
On Heaven’s reward
And You will see
Jesus our Lord
With arms stretched wide
And He will say
I’ve got this,
Relax and pray
Give to ME
All fear today
And so, you fixed
The broken thing
The simple problem
The only sting
That you can control
Upon this rock
You have the key
You can unlock
It’s simply you
So – go and pray
And give to God
Humbly say
Fix me Jesus
Fix me today
Now that you gave
The power back
Prayer and Patience
fear, you lack.
It’s better to walk
In God’s way
Stop trying alone
Start with Jesus today.

Let me start by saying, 9 of the 10 – what do I mean by that, you ask? As I wrote about stealing, I wondered where stealing stood in the list of 10 Commandments. As I read through them I realized that 9 of the 10 were blatantly broken in a matter of seconds as the new government took it’s place.
The Ten Commandments
20 And God spoke all these words:
2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
3 “You shall have no other gods before[a] me.
4 “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.
7 “You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.
8 “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. 11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
12 “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.
13 “You shall not murder.
14 “You shall not commit adultery.
15 “You shall not steal.
16 “You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.
17 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”
18 When the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke, they trembled with fear. They stayed at a distance 19 and said to Moses, “Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak to us or we will die.”
Um…I don’t know. Actually, I do know. I am so glad, thankful and happy that I don’t play for that team. I am so thankful to see with clarity. I am so thankful. I am ready to work Jesus. You have exposed the mess. Now it is our JOB, our MISSION, Christians. We will not stand back and wipe our hands clean and walk away. Good Samaritans, it is time to work. To help. To tidy, to offer love, to offer assistance, to act. But not of ourselves, or we will act in sin, we must arm ourselves with the Spirit of Godly Love and know that God is at work and will use us to GLORIFY Him.
Someone asked me – they asked ME – what we should do. What do we do now, they stole the election? Was the question posed. I read it and this is what I felt. I felt defeated. So dejected. So sad. I must be honest, it was heavy cause I felt those things that are so against what Jesus wanted me to feel, please forgive me for the moments of doubt. Fear is no joke, it is Satan’s greatest tool, completely embedded in his favorite language – lies and deceit. So now I want to turn the question back to you, “What should we do?”
If you answered, “Pray,” then I agree.
Dear Lord, I pray that we submit to You to do and act with Your Great Wisdom. We give all of this to you and we pray that you would use us to Glorify you. Help us be less of sin and more of you. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
The battleground is Spiritual folks. I spoke about supporting our local government and police force the other day. However, I forgot the most important tool. I forgot me. I forgot to go inside and search for the things I need to fix first. Please Jesus, humble me and let me be more like you everyday. My prayer is to be more like you because I am so broken, and the greatest mission I have is to bring more people to YOU, Lord.
This is so critical, so so important to remember – How can I be a witness for Jesus if I walk around filthy in my own sin. If I don’t cleanse myself on a daily basis, I will wreak of sin. Fear can creep in so easily to a heart not guarded by our Christian armor. We need to put each piece on every single morning to ward against the attacks of the devil. Please cleanse me Jesus, please use me today to further your Kingdom.
It is so sweet and simple how we, as Christians, can learn. Jesus speaks to us in simple ways that we can understand if we open our minds to Him. After reading a bed-night story to my kids last night, The Lord spoke to me. It was a First Reader book about a stolen pearl. The book went through the whole experience of stealing. It was so simple and so profound. How can you find joy and peace in something that was stolen?
Let’s make this personal. Have you ever taken something beautiful that didn’t belong to you? I have. It’s the worst feeling ever. There is no forgetting where that thing came from. There is no joy, there is only guilt, gut-wrenching guilt. You can’t enjoy it or really celebrate. You can try and forget where it came from or how you obtained it, but eventually it catches up to you. That is the Great Balance of God. Splat, you fall on your face. How simple life is – for every action there is a equal and opposite reaction – and that is Christian Science folks. Amen.
Blessed assurance, Jesus is Mine.
So let’s stop being scared. When wrong is committed, there is balance. But caution. Justice comes in many forms. Humble yourself at all times. Remember to reflect Jesus, do not point fingers in accusation. Do not fight, argue, chastise. Pray, Lord please forgive them, because even though HISTORY promises the outcome, they still don’t know what they are doing. Please open their eyes, please let them see what we see. For a second, let them see through the sin – and in that second take hold of their hearts and let them not turn back! Please Jesus, YOUR will be done. Please take our fear and banish it from our homes. Let us trust in you in ALL THINGS.
Let us remember that our greatest mission is to reflect Jesus and His hope in all things. Let us shine UNITED and Christians. United we stand under the love and protection of the ONLY GOD. Jesus, the creator of all things, that grants us HIS Spirit when we profess and believe that Jesus is Lord and Savior. We receive! How overwhelming. When we believe, we RECEIVE! With that receiving a gift from the Lord, a mission, a task and a blessing. Your gift will be revealed and you must use it to glorify Jesus in every single thing you do. And WHEN – not if – WHEN you mess up, you repent. You ask forgiveness and trust that your sin is forgiven.
Listen to me guys, I have been hearing the most tragic stories lately. Unsaved loved ones so dejected and committed to NOT accepting Jesus because of the back-slidden, sin filled examples of people they know who are Christians or claim to be Christians. It is so sad, so sad. Unsaved loved ones who are angry, confused and stuck. They are so far away from Salvation because fear, lies and confusion make them think that Christians need to be perfect. That is the Devil working his awful disgusting lies. It is so…
WRONG.
Salvation does not equal perfect. I am still a HUMAN – let’s use me, Katie, as an example – soaking in sin forever until I die – acknowledges that Jesus is my Savior. Jesus loves me, I am saved from Death. It means that WHEN I sin, I will be forgiven, if I repent. Salvation doesn’t make me a superhero that is suddenly perfect and above sin on earth. It means that I have hope, I have no fear of death, I can start each day fresh with forgiveness and love from The Father.
Jesus came to earth humbly, to save the lost, the ones that want to believe. Please stop rejecting Salvation because of sinful people. I can promise you that people, well, they will always sin and please see the real story, that salvation is for everyone. Salvation DOESN’T EVER promise to make life perfect – perfect is only in Heaven, not on Earth. But Salvation promises that you will experience perfect LOVE from Jesus, it promises that in your death – your spirit will be eternal, and that you no longer have to fear Hell. Salvation promises that forgiveness is freely given.
True love is God’s perfect balance and it exists only because there is an opposite. Why is there Hell? What if there was absence of consequence? What if there was no Hell? Heaven could not exist. What is love without a choice? What is right without wrong? If science is real, and Newton’s law is impossible to break, then that is the simple explanation of Love. If love was forced, it wouldn’t be authentic, it would be robotic. It would be nothing. The absence of nothing is God. God is omnipresent, omnipotent and He loves you. He gives – free – His love and His Salvation.
Now what do you have to do? You don’t have to do anything – because no act can ever repay the Love of Jesus dying on the cross. You can’t compete with that. The only act is to pray, to accept Jesus’ love – and He will forgive you of your sin and to save you and now you Celebrate! You now receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. From that point on – your life is His, and from that point on you write your story with Him. You are never alone again.
I can promise you one thing. You are reading this for a reason. And God has a purpose for you. You are special. You are intentional. You are loved. If you are feeling lost, He can help you find your way. He is waiting to show you.
If you have questions, I can try and help you answer them. I have my Bible ready and we can pray together. Prayer is so powerful. John 14:6 – Jesus is the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE. No one comes to the Father, except through HIM. Amen.
