2 Chronicles 7

When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, 

14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 

15 Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. 16 I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my Name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there…

19 “But if you[a] turn away and forsake the decrees and commands I have given you[b] and go off to serve other gods and worship them, 

20 then I will uproot Israel from my land, which I have given them, and will reject this temple I have consecrated for my Name. I will make it a byword and an object of ridicule among all peoples.

 21 This temple will become a heap of rubble. All[c] who pass by will be appalled and say, ‘Why has the Lord done such a thing to this land and to this temple?’

God’s promises are true.  They are forever.  We have a simple solution.  We need to turn back to Him.  We must repent and He will bless us once again.  Is that something you are willing to do?  Who do you fear?  You have the loving support of God’s people and our numbers are growing far faster than the fear.  Persecution is generating stronger Christians, we only fear the Lord, and He is gracious and merciful.  We love you _________________________.  God bless you and keep you, may His grace fall upon you and be merciful to you.  God bless your family, remain strong and faithful.  God, fill __________________________ with Your Spirit now.  Let him know you are present.  Work miracles in him.  We are united as family in You.

I have been thinking about you a lot lately.  You have done some really amazing things, speaking out against large corporations and encouraging small parks to be developed instead.  We love the idea of keeping Oceanside a family friendly city.  Large corporations bring in too much traffic and encourage late night partying and problems.  We like where you stand.
I am praying for you.  I know this year brings a lot of challenges, I pray you are able to overcome them with grace.  
Dear Lord, please bless Mayor Sanchez.  I pray that you would help her keep her mind focused on you.  That you would raise up another Esther like the Queen in the Bible. Mordecai told her not to reveal her Jewish heritage, and it wasn’t revealed until the right time, to glorify God and to save the Jewish people from destruction. I pray you are doing the same.  You are saving us from destruction.  Christian faith is under attack right now.  Persecution is everywhere, and Praise God, that it always works opposite of its attempts.  More people are being saved every day.
