Taking back Christian Holidays seems to be a mission of mine. Easter is just around the corner, and don’t you worry, I’m already praying for Holy Spirit guidance on that. He gave me Christmas today though folks…So here we go.

I get all fired up in righteous anger when I think about how each Holiday is wrapped up in pagan fluff and every. single. detail. that points people to Jesus is erased by the most ridiculous and terrifying pagan idol worshipping traditions. AND, drum roll please, everyone – including Christians – simply eat it up! yum. like a santa shaped christmas cookie

oh yeah, It’s an absolute CRIME to tell your kids that santa is NOT real. A CRIME. You’d never rob them of the idea that a fat old man in a tight red suit – a STRANGER – comes into your house at night and brings you presents while everyone is “light’s out.” What kind of sick life-lesson is that? Let people in our house while you’re sleeping – that’s special.

not to my daughter, she knew, oh boy

I took the focus, all off His Birth

How dare I give Santa, Jesus’ Worth.

I really don’t care if what I just typed irritates you, and if you’re kinda more mad that I posted something about Christmas at the end of March, TOO SOOOOOON you scream. why? cause the guilt hasn’t left you yet, you knew Santa was a terrible idea 3 months ago?

think about it. pray about it. maybe reading something about Christmas now in March can give you the time it will take to unprogram your pagan idol worshipping mind and get the whole family on board with a new and special kind of Christmas next year. maybe this chastising and reawakening of your mind will make you accept Jesus once again into your heart and into your mind and remember that HE IS WORTHY

HE IS WORTHY – of ALL honor, ALL glory, ALL praise forever and ever. AMEN!

When you read the Bible and you think about how many people worshipped idols over and over and over again…do you ever wonder why? or how? I know I get disgusted when I think about when Moses went to the mountain and left Aaron in charge. yup, you got this Aaron. then Moses comes back with the 10 Commandments – the first one? you got it – Don’t worship idols!!!! Here, I’ll prove it with the Bible: Exodus 20

And God spoke all these words:

² “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

³ “You shall have no other gods before me.

⁴ “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. ⁵ You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, ⁶ but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

WELL, what the Israelites did was innocent too wasn’t it. the Golden calf was representing God, they were praising God for all He had done for them. They just “innocently” wanted to make God look like a golden calf – not a faith God – a golden animal god, something they could see…gag. we make excuses for EVERY SIN we commit.

yet, the BIBLE is clear – it’s our LIGHT in the darkness – DON’T MAKE ANY IDOL HAVE MORE VALUE THAN ME, DON’T PUT ANYTHING AHEAD OF ME, DON’T MAKE CHRISTMAS – MY BIRTHDAY A CELEBRATION OF ANYONE BUT ME!

DON’T CELEBRATE SANTA ON CHRISTMAS.

is Jesus worthy of Christmas?

IS HE worthy of your love?

Is He worthy of your praise?

Is Christmas special and wondrous enough – the story of HIS miracle on earth – is that miracle enough for your family to celebrate?

is Santa’s story better than Jesus story?

did Santa’s arrival trump Jesus’ arrival on earth?

did Santa save your soul from eternal torment in hell?

do you think santa is an idol?

why do you think He made that the first commandment?

When asked which commandment is greatest, he responds (in Matthew 22:37): “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind…the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”
