Good morning Lovelies. Today is another fantastic day. I woke up with praise. Another day on God’s great Earth. I achieved another successful and positive day with my detox. I am so excited to share some things with you.
Yesterday’s BREAK-FAST cookies were such a hit. I was so excited to share them with my husband when he got home from work. He is such a great taste-tester, and he devoured 3 cookies simultaneously. The proof was in his scarfing.
So, after eating those cookies, my husband and I talked about all the obstacles I am trying to overcome with the detox. I told him that it would be a lot easier to make the recipes I have stored in my head if I had the right tools. Just like he has to have the right tools at his job to work effectively, so do I.
SOOOOOOOOOOOO,
My husband agreed that a great investment to my cause would be this!!!
….and if you act fast it’s $30 off. I think this is the cheapest place to buy it! I looked all day yesterday and I’m pretty sure we SCORED BIG. Amazon has the Ninja Touchscreen too, and that package includes the spirilizer.
The possibilities are endless now that I am better equipped in my kitchen! PRAISE!
Another praise I want to share is this:

When I started this detox I weighed 131.4.
This is only day 4 and I have lost 4 pounds! And I am eating all the time and eating DELICIOUS FOODS.
Let me be clear on this very important aspect, I didn’t start this detox because I wanted to lose weight. I started it because I was in PAIN. The inflammation in my knee was so bad that it was keeping me from fun activities with my family. The weight loss I just witnessed is making me rejoice because the less weight I carry, the less stress I have on my knee! That is AWESOME cause that means I can walk again without pain!
I am also rejoicing because eating clean makes everything clean. Admittedly, I am going through some minor mental adjustments with food, like the “witching hour” weakness I go through each night, but guess what – they are becoming easier and easier to manage. I expect them and I rationalize them. Most importantly, I pray about them and God gives me the strength and tenacity to overcome. I am realizing and falling in love with a new strength and a new level of ME. The power of personal health. I have a clean attitude when I am taking care of ME! This has become a gentle-caretaking attitude directed at Katie and that blossoms and spreads to those around me. PRAISE HIS NAME!
Breakfast:
2 BREAC-FAST cookies and a cuppa. (I am going to do the same special coffee blend everyday.)
I used to mix my coffee with Almond Milk. But look at the refined sugar content! oh my goodness! I had gestational diabetes when I was pregnant with my daughter. I managed my diabetes with diet alone. I was determined to nurture my baby without the aid of medications, and I did. I learned a lot about diet, sugar intake and eating times during my pregnancy. I witnessed what each meal did to my sugar levels by testing my blood 3 times a day.
Starting my day with all of that refined sugar in my coffee was terrible. It left my sugar levels at a peak for the entire day. I won’t do it again. But you know how I will start my day? Like this:
Dear Lord, thank you for giving me the strength and desire to do my Detox. I bet this knee pain happened because you wanted to bring me here…because I needed to make a life change. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you for keeping me in constant contact, I feel your presence so strong.
Thank you for letting the injury happen after I started my blog, so I could share my journey with my friends. I am way stronger because I have their support. I pray that you would let this experience inspire someone to make a spiritual and physical change in their lives too. You are so powerful and I know that you are using me to do great things. Thank you for the opportunity to be your steward.
I love you so much. Thank you for my family. I pray specifically that you would take away my knee pain very soon. It really hurts and I miss doing fun things with the kids. Thank you for all of your many blessings. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
12 Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you. 13 Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other. 14 And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak,be patient with everyone. 15 Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
Lunch:
We went to the pool today to enjoy some swimming. All of the kids are back in school so it makes activities like that a lot less chaotic. God bless all you teachers out there that surround yourselves in that noisy business all day. I love my peace and quiet with my children, with just our own small clouds of chaos. haha.
I prepared for being out of the house for lunch and snack time by packing up a nice picnic basket. We ate pretty much everything you see in the picture. I was starving all day, so I ate a ton of food. Yet, I still lost 4 ounces. This detox is unreal!
Afternoon Snack:
We got home at 2 o’clock and I made this delicious plate of healthy and scarfed up the whole thing. I told you….I was HUNGRY.
Dinner:
We made a Greek-style meal with our new Ninja Touchscreen Blender. It was really good. I’ll admit, the next time I make the patties, I’ll use a recipe. Trying my own was fun, but the outcome was kinda bland and a little dry. I think I’ll try a falafel recipe instead. My husband made the Tzatziki Sauce. That was amazing and we made enough to season our meals for the rest of the week. I love hummus and tzatziki sauce.
I am not eating anything after 6pm. Just drinking water, but not so much that it keeps me up all night.
Another day of success. Thank you Lord. Thank you for keeping me strong. To my readers, God bless you and thank you for following along and for all your encouragement!
Whew. God brought me some health issues, too, to bring me to a life change; and I thank Him for it!

That is Grand progress! 💚 I must thank you for following me as your 10 day detox blog is giving me more inspiration to be creative and focused with sharing my own detox process.
Six years ago, I learned about toxins that cause dis-ease. 🌭🍕🍔🥓🍗🍤🍧🍰🍩 I gave up fast food/processed food and commercial meats. 🍭🍬🍫🍩🍦 I had a sugar addiction and it has taken me all this time to gain control and now I only use cane juice when I want to engage others to a better option for sweetening.
I use to sell candy, but now I grow herbs. 🍀 I have changed my chemistry to eating healthy chemical-free foods with herbs. We all have the power within to be one with the God ruling our life. 🌌 Surrender to the truth and be grateful for the abundance in life. 🗝⚰💱🎵🍉🥑🍾
You keep following your “Why” 👣💪💃 to better health and the joy you get to have during this journey will strengthen the love you have for your self. The priority for me is me. As it is the same for everyone else. If we all learn to mind our own body’s business, the truth we seek will be authentic. Recognize the knowledge you need and wealth of life will proceed…
A rose 🌹 in perfection, shines bright! 🌞
Much appreciation!
