Soldiers? no.

Bowed away

Let Him go

Think that praying

Low for meals

Is showing faith

Expressing love that feels

and makes the guilt

All go away

Whisper words

Shamefully pray

Think equality

Of faith is fair

Listened to lies

Lost your care

Think that God

Doesn’t see

The way you deny

Him Wholeheartedly

Think that allowing

The pagan faith

Come into your town

To taint and take

Away the safety of your home

Give to others

So they can roam

and spread the lies

Of the devil

and stoop and stammer

At his level

You don’t rise above and say

That God is the only-ever-way

To make it to Heaven

To Eternity

and live within

His Reality.

 

Love your neighbour?

Allowing the lies?

No matter what

The devil tries

Speak the truth!

Don’t slip away!

Pray with fervor!

Tell Him today

That you commit

To a life less travelled

and your shoulders back

you no longer gravel

You will defend Him now

You will always take

The oath to rejoice

when chance can make

To tell of His love

and take a strong stance

to have open eyes

instead of a glance

For He is still watching

and waiting to see

If you are still strong

take opportunity

And bring more to Him

to further His kingdom

Loving the Lord

and sing of our FREEDOM!
