Raindrops

Pitter patter

Drops of rain

gently fall

On my window pane

The leaves, they turn

Rejoice of You

Drink it up

Soak it through

The flowers open

Rain is here

Dance with joy

Bright colors cheer

Boys and girls

Put on their boots

Run outside

Splashes shoot

Rain explodes

Under their feet

Puddles submit

Laughter so sweet

Rain is joy

It’s life renewed

Bringing hope

Death subdued

Rain is washing

pain away

Cleaning, refreshing

sin can’t stay.

Suddenly darker

skies announce

Rain is changing

Arms stretched out

Rain is joined

By Holy power

Lightening crashes

Everyone cowers

Thunder announces

His control

Gentle rain

Brand new role

Slamming down

With Godly force

Rain is pounding

Changing course

Making rivers

Obey command

Rise and bow

I RULE THIS LAND!

Don’t forget

That God is here

He is Gentle

Obey, respect, fear

His POWER is great

The storm displays

What we respect

no act can repay

I stand in awe

with no neglect

I love you God

I won’t forget

to honor You

a single tear

I know you God

I have no fear

for you are Mine

and I belong

to your eternal,

joyful song.

The terrible storm

passes by.

Again the trees

sway gently, sigh.

The flowers bloom.

The grass is green.

The air is gorgeous,

a perfect clean.

Refreshing smell

the birth of new

brand new hope

diamonds, dew.

Faith reborn

storms, they pass

Constant reminders

that this won’t last.

Eternal Splendor

God’s Holy Power

Refreshing reminders

Within a rain shower.

Psalm 51:10

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
