The issues in Haiti and the struggles of the people just in the last week are horrible.  How can such poverty afford $17 for just a bag of rice?  How can the government force them into starvation?  OPPRESSION?  Are you kidding me?  In a time like this?  My heart is breaking for these gorgeous and precious lives.

Please pray for the country.  Nothing is more powerful than prayer.  Absolutely NOTHING.  Where 2 or more are gathered, He is there. I want to ask you to stop for a minute and join me in this prayer.  Please let them know that you prayed.  The people from Haiti can read this blog and they will know that you are praying for them.  GIVE THEM HOPE.

Dear God, I pray that massive changes are made with this country.  Nothing is as powerful as YOU.  I pray for our children that are struggling through this massive oppression and pain.  I pray that they are allowed food to eat and that their families are okay.  I don’t know how you are going to make this change happen, but I KNOW you will. I trust and pray with my whole heart that you will save them, protect them and guide this whole country to a new hope – in YOU.  I pray this in your POWERFUL name, Christ Jesus, Amen.
