Glass Half Full Project #GHFP

Happy Sunday.  We are watching church from home this morning all cuddled up in our Pajamas.  We are all forced to stay and during this pause we have been sharing and enjoying some really special things.

We are connecting with neighbors that we have never met before, enjoying brand new friendships, sharing food and supplies with people – not cause they need it, because God commands it and it’s also so much fun!

Give unto others, as you would have others give unto you.  That should be our motto – and don’t ask if people want or need, just simply give.  Everyone is too proud.  We need to just bring it, give it, and rejoice in it.

So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

Matthew 7:12

It’s so happy to share.  I’ve been using my bread machine for the first time in years, baking delicious bread, cutting the pieces up with a huge bread knife.  Each slice forces the most savory and mouth-watering smells that scream – EAT ME!  YUMMO!  Toast it up and put some butter and some jam on it – there in nothing more comforting in the world.

Exciting news too, our princess discovered her first loose tooth two days ago.  That was happy and exciting – how much does a tooth go for these days, anyway?  I gotta get up to speed on that.

It’s special to share comfort and joy right now.  So this is a fun idea.  Let’s do a Glass-Half-Full Project #GHFP

Let’s start sharing some stories that people want to hear and share.  I like the pendulum swing that fights against gloom, sadness, fear and despair.

I like to focus on happiness.

Some punny pictures, jokes and things that make you say – “waaa waaaaa!”

Share your online Church services – here’s ours – “Yay – It’s Chris Hilkin!!!”

I challenge you to see the Glass Half Full.  Share stories of Joy, Happiness and Love.  Pool it together in a way that’s all people can read – a place to go of comfort and joy.  The Bible is our first source of Comfort. Love Y’alllll.

Also, start planning your “After Lockdown Parties” – playdates never sounded so good when you aren’t allowed to do them at all, right?!
