seed planted

waiting still

watered daily

nothing will

make her doubt

that it will grow

patient farmer

abide and know

every effort

not for loss

building shelter

wind may toss

diligent always

never stopped

protect the seed

that she dropped

the wind came

and blew around

she prepared

seed in the ground

next was shade

from the sun

steady working

little one

the sun came

scorched the ground

the seed protected

all around

fierce hail

came to take

but the shelter strong

didn’t quake

the seed

so nurtured, so adored

loving tender

now reward

up it ruptured

from the earth

farmer rejoiced

diligent’s worth

water daily

giving power

now rooted

does not cower

growing tall

mighty still

all because

the farmer will

be forever

focused strong

the seed she planted

now lives on

bears great fruit

forever shares

the steadfast love

the farmer’s prayers.

many ate

of the tree

and many were saved

even me

I live to tell you

taste and see

eternal life

for you and me

prayer is power

it destroys the attacks

it protects and saves

prayer doesn’t lack

continue to pray

for loved, lost souls

give it to Jesus

all power controls

you intervene

for those you love

your prayers are heard

by Jesus above

he loves them too

such great seed

protected by prayer

the farmers deed.

Matthew 13

³⁶ Then he left the crowd and went into the house. His disciples came to him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.”

³⁷ He answered, “The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. ³⁸ The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one, ³⁹ and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.

⁴⁰ “As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age. ⁴¹ The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil.⁴² They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. ⁴³ Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear.

All praise be to Jesus, the maker of the the heavens and the earth. How great is your mercy, how great is your Love for us. We do not deserve it, but still Lord, you came, you died in our place and your blood washes us clean from our sin. We love you and we praise you forever because of who you are.

Don’t stop praying for those who are not saved, those you love. I am encouraging you because a mighty man, one who had all the reasons stacked up against him, is now on his path to salvation and I am praying for him continually that God would heal his pain and that he would continue to fall into the arms of Jesus. The encouraging steps he is taking gives me Jesus chills. I love you Jesus. You are fantastic.
