Not Ashamed of the Gospel

2 Timothy 1:8-12 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, 10 but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, 11 to which I was appointed a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher [a]of the Gentiles. 12 For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.

Are you?

Are you one?

Are you a Christian?

Following The Son?

Are you ashamed?

Or are you BOLD

Are you so haughty

Are you sold?

Are you a slave

To all of earth?

OR do you rise UP

In Jesus’ worth

Scrap that

who is?

no one

dismiss!

No one is worthy

To tie His Shoe

Let alone

Be made brand new

Yet, undying Love

and Resurrection Power

Makes common sense

Bow to Him, cower

Relentless Love

How can it be?

Yet, on a cross

A scornful tree

He died

Submission

He took it all

So I could live

He took my fall

Not just mine

Eternity’s sin

It’s disappeared

We win, WE WIN!

He looked at me

and chose this girl

So, return love,

Watch out world

I’m not going to be quiet

I won’t back down

Relentless love?

Won’t settle down

It only grows

and spills this cup

It’s overflowing

It won’t give up

I’m changed inside

not bashful, see?

I’m not ashamed

cause I’m. Not. Me!

I’m HIS, I’m SAVED

I’m a brand new She

I share eternal

Resurrection = free

I don’t sucomb

to death, anymore

I am new, I’m HIS

So there is no score

There’s just a fact.

We win.

It’s true

You’re in the war –

what about you?

Here’s the game

Red or black?

What do you choose

Matter of fact.

You know that red

Will win the game.

Don’t choose the loss

of eternal pain

Choose the blood

That washes you clean

His scarred up hands

Are fierce and keen

He is the judge

and he will condemn

Play for HIM

or play for them?

No, the winning team

Is not rich or cool

Not of the world

We follow The Fool

We worship the king

Humble while here

but when He returns?

You will REVERE!

Glorified in power

This Warrior won’t fail

His tongue is a sword

one. word.

no nail

no cross

no crown

no scourge

no spear

no pluck

no scorn

He’ll purge

Once before in water;

This time a burn

This time it’ll beg

for a flood’s return

This world of sin

Will crumble, wow

one. word.

It’s His,

None has yet heard

A sound of victory

In Jesus, my Lord

I’ll be there with Him

Watching His sword

Where will you be?

Are you still ashamed?

or are you ready

To be renamed?

To be reborn

To turn away

To conquer death

and live. Today.

Dear Lord, you are Sovereign, and I am so humbled that I get to pray to you, the creator of all things. I pray that you would save that one person that reads this today. The one who is searching. You know who that person is. You know their past. You know their pain. You know that they hear You knocking. You know that they think they are too far gone. Show them the door. Show them the light. Show them that you are there and waiting to give them freedom. I pray you would lift the veil, give them the courage to take that step that leads to life and salvation. To joy in sorrow. To faith and trust where there is no hope. Jesus, you are the answer to it all. I know this because you have given it all to me. I praise you. I will never stop. I love you so much and I am so thankful for another day in this mission. Lift up the lost, help them find you Jesus, and let them get swept away in your arms. You are such a good Father, thank you for today. Thank you for revival. In Jesus name, Amen!
