Not Ashamed of the Gospel

^{2 Timothy 1:8-12}Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, ⁹who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, ¹⁰but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, ¹¹to which I was appointed a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher ^[a]of the Gentiles. ¹²For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.

Are you still ashamed?

To turn away

To conquer death

and live. Today.

Dear Lord, you are Sovereign, and I am so humbled that I get to pray to you, the creator of all things. I pray that you would save that one person that reads this today. The one who is searching. You know who that person is. You know their past. You know their pain. You know that they hear You knocking. You know that they think they are too far gone. Show them the door. Show them the light. Show them that you are there and waiting to give them freedom. I pray you would lift the veil, give them the courage to take that step that leads to life and salvation. To joy in sorrow. To faith and trust where there is no hope. Jesus, you are the answer to it all. I know this because you have given it all to me. I praise you. I will never stop. I love you so much and I am so thankful for another day in this mission. Lift up the lost, help them find you Jesus, and let them get swept away in your arms. You are such a good Father, thank you for today. Thank you for revival. In Jesus name, Amen!
