10 Day Detox Meals – Day 8

Check out the update on yesterday’s meals.  The trampoline park was an awesome experience and we scored some fun presents for our friend’s 8th birthday.

This morning started in kind of rough.  My daughter woke up in pain, complaining about her stomach.  It was so sad.  She got sick twice and had a really difficult time.  It must have been something she ate yesterday because she had no fever and was able to recover relatively quickly.  I love this thermometer and I have been using it for almost 5 years.  It was a present from my father-in-law when we celebrated my daughters baby-shower.  I love it because you can test on their foreheads and it gives immediate response.

I cuddled with her on the couch and we watched Lost in OZ on our SmartTV with my AmazonSmile ap.  If you haven’t watched this with your kids yet, your missing out.  The Wizard of OZ was one of my favorite movies as a kid.  This little series is pretty cool, nothing like the original, but Princess loves it and it was nice to get her mind off her sick.  Poor little thing.

SO, I was really distracted this morning and I wasn’t able to capture my weight.  I was doing WAY more important things.  That was a difficult way to wake up and I’m in a funk.  I am struggling, so I am going to remain in prayer and focused on healing my spirit. I am going to watch church on my computer, which is a great back up plan when I can’t attend in person.  I love the spirit of fellowship we have at our second home.

We started a new series at church called “Why am I Here?” wow.  Pastor Chris Brown hit it home when he said, we are not bodies that have a soul, we are eternal souls that for a short time have a body.  That’s pretty powerful stuff right there.

Breakfast, Snacks, Lunch and Dinner:

My meals will consist of delicious smoothies made with my awesome Ninja Blender in celebration of SUNDAY, my favorite day of the week!  I want to cleanse my body.  Whatever sick my daughter had, I want to cleanse the possibility of it traveling to me.  This smoothie was so delicious and so satisfying.  I made it from the following Organic ingredients:

water, blueberries, strawberries, spinach, pumpkin spice, raisins, small section of banana.

I needed a good shot of goosebumps today, you might as well, so here are a couple of videos that I watched today.

I love you Lord, thank you for our health, thank you for teaching me so many things today.  Thank you for another successful day.  I love you with my whole heart.  Amen
