10 Day Detox Meals – Day 7

Good morning!  I can’t believe it’s been a week now.  You have to check out the sushi plate I made yesterday on Day 6.  It was SOOOO delicious.

I am feeling encouraged now that it has been a full 7 days of detox.  There are so many explosive things happening in my life.  I am really caring for myself, and that’s a big deal, right moms?!  I am not just shrugging at the fuel I am putting into my body.  I am taking careful attention to put amazing and inspiring, healthy and delicious meals into my tank.  Now I feel like I’m running at full efficiency.  My mind is clear, my body feels great and the pain in my knee is reduced a lot.  How encouraging is that!

I am so happy that I have ability to share this with you.  I pray that it inspires you to make a change, to take charge of your life and to do something awesome.  It doesn’t matter what it is.  If there is a goal that you have always wanted to achieve and have never tried, why not today?  If we always wait for the “perfect time” we will never realize success, cause there is nothing perfect here on earth, that only exists in Heaven.  I want to challenge you to try something awesome today!

Try inspiring yourself by a committing to some powerful statements about YOU.  Maybe they aren’t your current reality, but saying something out loud is a powerful tool.  Let me give you a personal example:

I was a finance manager for 5 years, I made $150,000 a year and I LOVED my job.  It was a very lucrative and powerful position.  However, I was thrown into the position completely cold-turkey.  No experience, no training…nothing.  I was confident, however, and I knew I would never fail.

After about 3 months of struggling with my sales, I decided I would take control.  I starting talking to myself in the mirror every morning.  I said this, “My name is Katie, and I sell $5000 a month.”  I was very specific.  (in the previous months I had only achieved $1300 a month in sales.  not great.)  At the end of that month, do you know what my sales were?  That’s right.  I sold over $5000.

I had committed to my outcome with confidence and a belief that I would not fail.  I had put that into the universe and it responded.  Try that.  You must do it with conviction.

At the time I was weak-sauce Christian.  God lived in the background and I liked Him there.  Now that I am a full-on Champion of my King, I know that committing to success is even more powerful because I have the full power of the Holy Spirit working inside me!  That is exciting, happy, fulfilling and now the things I commit to are even more powerful.  I have HIM.

I attacked this detox with the same confidence.  I have lost more weight!  Check out how much I have lost since yesterday!  God is so good!  All the time!

Breakfast:

I am having another smoothie with Puori Whey Protein.  I added organic baby spinach, blueberries, water and Vitamin B.  I am also going to have a piece of organic multigrain toast with POWR Spread.

I will post the rest of my meals tomorrow morning.  We are going to the local trampoline park for a birthday party this afternoon!  Super exciting!

YAY!  We are back from the birthday party and it was a BLAST.  Before we got there we made a quick stop to my favorite store….LAAAAAA, the angels sing…  Our little friend was turning 8, so I thought the best present for her would be this!  It was a super cute gift, perfect for entering the fall season.  I can just picture her all cute and cuddly inside. The rest of her gifts “had to be UNICORN” themed according to Princess.  Mission accomplished.

All the kiddos were completely sweaty, tired and socially fulfilled.  I love hanging out with our little group of friends, and meeting some friendly-new-faces.  We had a blast.

This lunch was so filling and satisfying.  I ate with my daughter in our picnic spot in our front yard.  I love spending quality time with her.  My son was napping at the time and we had some “important” conversations.  I love asking her questions.  She inspires me all the time.

Dinner:

IMG_9729Budget and health conscious Swank meal.  I used the left-overs from my awesome Sushi Plate, a slice of Swankalicious quiche, half an organic avocado and a dollop of organic red-pepper hummus.

Another successful day of healthy meals under our belts.  Thank you God for all you have provided.  For giving us all of our many blessings and providing us hope and a FUTURE!

Jeremiah 29:11

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

  1. Thanks for following my blog.
I went back and followed all your de-tox posts, good for you!! I think I need to do the same. I can’t this next week (financial constraints-waiting for payday!). However, the next week I will try this, with a few modifications. Thank you for sharing your journey AND your faith!!
    Blessings~
