I tried to shed

I looked back

on older rhyme

I did this

before because

I was unhealthy

A great cause

My knee was hurting

I was in pain

and ridding heavy

Was the main

Reason for

my great results

So here I am

similar faults

Heavy body

Heavy Heart

I’ll tell you what

and how I did

What was eaten

what heavy I rid

what I discovered

in this new plight

I’ll share what I learned

what I had to fight

but to end this rhyme

On this day

I want you to know

In every way

Jesus is Better

This life is so FULL

It’s so complete

If I could I would pull

You over here

Onto this side

But you have to do it

YOU have to decide.

So guys, I have some really exciting news. I lost some of the heavy. On both sides of the weight.

I learned some new lessons that I am so pumped about. Here is the pic so you have proof.

If this doesn’t give you goosebumps, you need to evaluate yourself.

In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, ² but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heirof all things, and through whom also he made the universe.³ The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. ⁴ So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs

I was struggling last night with the temptation to go eat a snack before bed. Then I remembered I have a better tool to use. I have Jesus. I gave the temptation to Him and told Him that I was struggling. If I gave in, like my bad habit wanted me to, I would have felt defeated. I can overcome easier when I talk to my Savior. He cares about that stuff, you know. Some people may teach you that He doesn’t, you can’t pray about a parking spot, you can’t pray about a pimple, but you can. You can pray about anything that hurts you. You can pray and give it all to Jesus. He cares for you in a 1 Peter 5:7 kinda way.

I am telling you what, Hebrews, you’re fantastic. I love knowing that Jesus is better. He is better than the law, he is better than the past, he is better than the principalities and powers of heaven and all that is under heaven. And the nut bar thing that freaks me out is that He CARES.

So let that blow your hair back today. Let that be the Joy that makes you jump up and live a great day. Let the words of our lips be continually rejoicing and sharing the love of Jesus. Be a Jesus Freak, be different, be loving and caring and be looking up guys, Jesus is coming soon, He will be coming in the clouds, so if you see a couple in the sky today, look up! You might see Him and what a day of rejoicing that will be!
